Cowboy, the world’s most connected e-bikes, can now be maintained at the riders’ home following the launch of the company’s new on-demand services.
Alongside Cowboy’s fast-growing network of independent bike store partners and industry-first Cowboy Care – its monthly maintenance and repair subscription service – on-demand offers an additional way to care for its e-bikes.
Provided by Cowboy’s network of mobile mechanics, riders across Europe can choose from a variety of single on-demand services including maintenance packages, tyre puncture fixes, bike set-up, rear rack installation and child seat installation.
All services are booked via the Cowboy app.
Tanguy Goretti, co-founder and CTO of Cowboy, said: “It’s not just about creating a great bike, it’s imperative that customers feel confident that when they invest in a Cowboy e-bike, they can service and maintain it at a time and place most convenient for them.
“Continuously investing and improving our post-sales support is a huge part of our strategy this year and on-demand is a big part of that, with more news to come in a few months time.
“We recognise that not everyone will have the time, tools, or technical know-how to attach accessories or service their bike on their own, so on-demand is the perfect concierge service for them. We want to make sure people find it as easy as possible to get up and running and continue to use their bike as much as possible.”
After a successful pilot throughout the winter months in Cowboy’s key European cities, the On-Demand services will now be available nationwide in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Additionally, coverage currently extends to the capitals region for France, the UK, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, and Italy, including Glasgow and Milan.
Prices for On-Demand services start at €69/£69.
As part of Cowboy’s focus to make servicing as easy as possible, it is also now partnering with more than 175 independent, local bike retailers across Europe, with a target of onboarding 1,000 by the end of 2024, which currently deliver more than half of all repairs.
