Micromobility provider Dott has launched its brand new e-bikes in London, with machines now available in Hammersmith and Fulham.
More than 250 bikes will be in operation in the area, as Dott expands its offering in the capital, as e-scooters are already available in London.
Duncan Robertson, general manager UK and Ireland for Dott, said: “Our new e-bikes unlock cities and make them easier to get around, which we hope will help more people choose to travel in an environmentally friendly way. This collaboration with the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham marks the start of our London service, with Dott’s e-bikes soon to be available further across the capital.”
Dott’s e-bikes will be capable of travelling at 25km/h, and parking will be permitted in allocated marked and virtual bays, offering greater flexibility for riders.
Pricing will be 17p per kilometre, with a £1 unlock fee per journey, while passes will be available for regular users.
The London launch is the latest expansion for Amsterdam-based micromobility firm Dott, which was founded in 2019, following e-bike launches in Paris, Brussels, Rome, Milan and more.
Dott’s e-bikes in London will operate under the same model as its existing fleet of e-scooters – repairs, maintenance and logistics will be handled in-house by specialist Dott staff.
The company is currently targeting a 100% electric logistics fleet and renewable energy in all its cities. Dott also said its service is designed to be as accessible as possible, and Dott works closely with local communities, aiming for equal coverage across the areas it serves and partnering with local organisations to help improve the cities in which it operates.

Founded by Henri Moissinac and Maxim Romain, Dott operates more than 40,000 e-scooters across Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
It also launched a fleet of 10,000 e-bikes at the end of 2021, and now has 600 staff, located in Amsterdam, London and Paris.
