Estarli launches nationwide e-bike fleet offer for businesses, councils and active travel organisations

Estarli has launched a new range of flexible e-bike fleet packages designed to help organisations reduce short car and van journeys, support active travel and make cycling more accessible for staff, customers and communities.

The new fleet offer covers Estarli’s folding, hybrid and cargo e-bike ranges, allowing organisations to choose bikes around real-world use cases rather than a one-size-fits-all fleet.

Folding e-bikes can support mixed-mode journeys, including rail travel, office use and compact storage. Hybrid e-bikes are suited to staff travel, commuting and longer-distance everyday riding. Cargo e-bikes can be used for carrying tools, equipment, deliveries, supplies, children, passengers and community resources.

The packages include outright fleet purchase, fleet purchase with servicing, and fully managed monthly options with servicing, support and lifecycle planning built in.

Oli Francis, co-founder of Estarli, said:

“For active travel to grow, e-bikes need to be easy for organisations to adopt and easy for people to use. That means choosing the right bikes, keeping them serviced, making them accessible to different riders and giving organisations the confidence that they can become part of everyday operations.

“Not every journey needs a car or a van. For many local trips — visiting sites, moving between meetings, carrying equipment, doing school or community work — an e-bike can be faster, cleaner, cheaper and easier.

“The important thing is flexibility. Some organisations need folding bikes that can go on trains or be stored easily. Others need hybrid bikes for longer staff journeys, or cargo bikes for tools, deliveries, children and community projects. Our fleet offer is designed to help organisations build the right setup for how they actually move.”

Estarli’s fleet launch builds on its experience supplying commercial bike fleets, including the London Bicycle Tour Company, which has invested in over 20 Estarli e-bikes for its guided tours and hire operation.

The company selected Estarli bikes for their belt-drive systems, reliability and local production — qualities Estarli says are particularly important for operators looking for dependable, low-maintenance fleets with accessible UK-based support.

For bike hire, tourism and multi-rider environments, Estarli says ease of use is critical. Features such as step-through frame options, simple controls, low-maintenance drivetrains and configurable builds/branding can help make e-bike fleets suitable for a wide range of riders, including those who may not cycle regularly.

The launch comes as councils, employers and community organisations look for more practical ways to reduce emissions, cut transport costs, ease congestion and address parking pressure.

For Estarli, the fleet offer is also about reducing the perceived complexity of adopting e-bikes at an organisational level. Packages can include model selection, custom builds, branding, scheduled servicing, maintenance support, security and tracking options.

Francis added:

“A lot of organisations are interested in active travel but don’t always know where to start. They may not know which bikes are right, how servicing will work, how to manage usage, or whether staff and riders will feel confident.

“That is where a supported fleet approach matters. We can help organisations take the first step, whether that is one or two bikes for a council or community group, or a larger managed fleet for a business, campus, hire operator or tourism provider.”

Another example is London Colney Parish Council, which acquired an Estarli e-cargo bike through grant funding to reduce reliance on cars and vans for local council tasks.

The council has used the bike for litter picks, recycling collections, tree planting, school engagement, community visits and local environmental projects. Its use has shown how an e-cargo bike can support day-to-day council work while also acting as a visible active travel tool within the community.

In a recent Estarli video, London Colney Parish Council environment officer and local councillor Matt Fisher said the e-cargo bike had proved particularly useful for short local journeys, avoiding parking problems and making community work more efficient.

“Doing this in the back of a car or a van is just ridiculous,” he said. “The little errands of running into town or doing something as a councillor has been super efficient. I don’t have to find a parking space. I literally just pull up outside someone’s door.”

The new fleet packages are now available for businesses, councils, schools, campuses, estates, hotels, tour operators, hire providers and community organisations.

Estarli’s new fleet packages include:

Fleet Purchase — preferential bulk pricing, custom builds and optional branding.

Fleet + Servicing — scheduled servicing and routine maintenance to keep fleets ride-ready.

Fleet Fully Managed — an operational model with servicing, support, lifecycle planning and predictable monthly costs.
