The second Asiabike Jakarta (ABJ), in collaboration with the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS), opens its doors at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) today, with the next six days showcasing the rapid development of sustainable transportation solutions across Southeast Asia.
This year’s expanded product offering will highlight green mobility solutions, alongside a dynamic fringe programme that includes product demonstrations, test rides, exclusive industry field tours, and more.
Expert-led forums will also examine key topics covering smart mobility technologies, IoT integration, and Indonesia’s 2030 policy outlook.
As a rising industry nexus, the show will foster business connections and technological exchange, supporting consolidated efforts in the region’s transition toward eco-friendly transportation.
Edward Che, GM of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, emphasised: “This year, due to our robust collaboration with PEVS and exciting new partnerships in China, Asiabike Jakarta 2025 is set to bring increased opportunities for green mobility advancement to Southeast Asia.
“The introduction of two Chinese pavilions from major manufacturing cities has opened up unprecedented opportunities for cross-border collaboration across the entire EV value chain. By bringing global solutions to local markets, we are not only facilitating business connections but also actively driving the industry’s transformation to accelerate Indonesia’s adoption of sustainable transportation methods.”
Connecting global innovators with local potential
Joining forces to accelerate Indonesia’s transition to e-mobility, this year’s ABJ, in collaboration with PEVS, will feature green transport solutions from over 130 exhibitors hailing from China, Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam.
ABJ will highlight two- and three-wheel innovations, showcasing new products and services from AHM, Alva, DATAI, Dubbs, EVE ENERGY, Indomobil E-motor – Adora, INFYPOWER, JINPENG, JULONG, JURRY, Kawasaki, Maka Motors, MEIDI, PHYLION, Selis, SPayLater, SUNRA, TIANYING, United, ZHIYANG, ZHONGXIN, and ZHUFENG, among others.
China and the eMobility transition
Spotlighting China’s influence in the regional e-mobility market, two dedicated pavilions from Jiangsu province, a manufacturing hub for electric vehicle production in the country, will take centre stage. The city of Wuxi, renowned for its electric two-wheelers, and Xuzhou, recognised for its electric three-wheeler production, will showcase original designs and cost-effective transportation innovations in Southeast Asia.
As a strategic partner, PEVS will focus on new energy technologies for electric four-wheel vehicles, bringing together leading automotive manufacturers such as BMW, BYD, Denza, DFSK, Hyundai, MAB, Mini, Morris, Seres, Tesla, and Wuling to unveil innovative advancements in green mobility.
Navigating the future of green mobility with fringe events
Beyond the product display, ABJ 2025 will offer a curated fringe programme that bridges industry updates with market strategies. Under the theme of “Future on Wheels—Green and Smart Connectivity, Driving Sustainable Transportation in Southeast Asia”, onsite forums will focus on Indonesia’s policy outlook, industry trends, and B2B matchmaking opportunities at the show.
In-depth dissections of real-world case studies will offer practical takeaways to drive success in the rapidly evolving industry.
