50 Rebels announces return to UK market

European e-bike brand 50 Rebels has announced its return to the UK market.

While shipping within Europe has always been straightforward, sending individual bikes to the UK proved too costly for both the company and its UK clients.

However, this situation has now changed.

50 Rebels is now piused for a restart on these shores as it introduces a new and cost-efficient UK shipping solution called Drops.

Drops streamlines operations and reduces costs through the establishment of a UK-based subsidiary with VAT registration.

Central to this process is the warehouse in the UK, where accumulated orders are imported and spare parts inventory is maintained.

Each month, bikes are shipped in bulk to the UK, and from the Brighton warehouse, individual orders are dispatched directly to customers.

For additional savings, customers can schedule their orders for a later drop.

This approach significantly lowers the overall cost of bikes and shipping expenses.

To celebrate the launch of its new UK shop and Drop Strategy, 50 Rebels is also introducing its latest model, the R2S, with a discount of £1,000.

For those willing to wait for later Drops, the discount can be as much as £1,200.

The R2S is the pinnacle of 50 Rebels’ range with the option to have a double 20 Amp Hour battery life.

It comes in three Bafang power options: 250W, 500W, or 750W.

The 250W motor version follows the EU standard EN15194 and qualifies as an EPAC (Electric Pedal Assisted Cycle) in all EU countries. Orders for 500W or 750W motors will be reviewed according to the laws of the shipping country.
