The nomination window is currently open for the BikeBiz Awards 2022, including categories specifically for micromobility brands. You can nominate yourself or other brands via our simple online form here.
BikeBiz, sister publication of MicromobilityBiz, will be hosting a revamped edition of its prestigious industry awards in 2022, featuring five new awards and the addition of an expert judging panel to decide the winners.
One of the biggest changes for this year’s BikeBiz Awards, in association with Armaurto, is the addition of new micromobility awards to recognise the work being done in the e-bike and e-scooter sectors.
These new awards are: Best Shared Transport Provider, Micromobility Retailer of the Year, and Micromobility Brand of the Year, which all fall under the new Micromobility awards category.
BikeBiz has also reintroduced a judging panel for this year’s awards, offering expert voices the chance to choose the winners.
The judging panel of 12 industry figures includes Jessica Hall, head of cities for the UK and Ireland at micromobility provider Tier, Leva-EU director Eddie Eccleston, and Cycling UK CEO Sarah Mitchell.
Nominations will close at midnight this Friday (26th August). The BikeBiz team will then review every entry and nomination to ensure the necessary criteria is met, in order to then compile a shortlist for each award.
Shortlists will be announced on 5th September, kickstarting the voting process. The winners will then be revealed on Friday, 4th November online via the BikeBiz social media channels and BikeBiz.com.
