Nominations are open for micromobility category in BikeBiz Awards 2023

Entries are officially open for the micromobility category in the 2023 BikeBiz awards.

The awards, hosted by MMB sister publication BikeBiz, aim to celebrate the inspiring and exciting work being done across the cycling and micromobility industries.

For 2023, the awards will be decided by a panel of expert judges from across these industries, including Georgia Yexley of Loud Mobility, Will Jansen of HumanForest, and freelancer journalist Rebecca Bland.

To nominate and for more information visit: www.bikebizawards.com

Entries and nominations opened on July 24 and will run until midnight on August 25.

Members of the industry are invited to put themselves forward for one of the prestigious awards using the online form.

The BikeBiz team will then review every entry and nomination to ensure the necessary criteria is met, in order to then compile a shortlist for each award.

Shortlists will then be announced on September 8, kickstarting the voting process.

Voting will be carried out by the expert judging panel, or by a wider vote open to the whole industry, depending on the category.

Most awards, including brands of the year and the micromobility awards, will be decided by the judging panel.

In order to make judging fair, judges will have to abstain from any awards category that may relate to their own organisation, to avoid any conflict of interest.

The micromobility awards

Businesses will be judged on the quality of their customer service, their range offered, and their work in encouraging e-mobility as urban transport.

Businesses will be judged on their products and services within the micromobility sector, whether that be an e-scooter, or e-bike brand, distributor or other service provider.
