Ekruzer, a new player in the micromobility space with a mission to bring gaming to life by merging the power of motion and technology, has revealed its controller bar concept, complete with HD screen for Augmented Reality Gaming (ARG).
Established in Australia by a group of engineers and developers, Ekruzer aims to be “for riders, by riders”, with the objectives of encouraging the Kruzer community to get up and embrace the outdoor lifestyle, establish actual communities – as opposed to ‘virtual’ – and to bring families and neighbourhoods together through a shared, immersive experience.
The team, headquartered in Melbourne, with an expert team spread across South East Asia, will launch its first product – Ekruzer #1 – later this year as the world’s first “gaming console on wheels”.
Among its many world-first innovations are the first open-platform gaming-compatible e-scooter and world’s first e-scooter to feature Alternate Reality Gaming (ARG).
The team at Ekruzer aims to launch #1 with the longest range of any micromobility vehicle worldwide, at more than 200 km, and it will feature an onboard AI assistant known as Squad Buddy.

Founder and CEO, known only by his gaming handle, Squad Leader, said: “Our feeling is that e-scooters, micro-mobility and the sector doesn’t yet have a product that addresses our youthful and game-obsessed community.
“We want to turn this on its head and introduce a sector-busting whole new product range.
“Our products are ‘Kruzers’, which will be interactive, fun, customisable, practical and versatile.”
Designed for the modern urbanite, gaming enthusiast, and for families looking to reconnect with outdoor adventures, Ekruzer provides an innovative way to explore the city while enjoying immersive gaming experiences.
Squad Leader added: “We can’t wait to show Ekruzer #1 later this year, to change things in this market for the good. Encouraging people to get out and ride, in a physical and outdoor extension of our gaming life.”
Today, the team launches its social media channels (Reddit, Twitter (X), YouTube, Snapchat, Linked In, TikTok, Discord, Pinterest, Rumble, Twitch, Meetup, Nextdoor, Yelp, Flickr, Vimeo and Tumblr) and encourages anyone wishing to learn more about this pioneering new Kruzer to subscribe to its mailing list at: www.Ekruzer.com
