US e-bike brand has launched its latest moped-inspired model, the Revv1.
This Class 2 electric bike has been designed for anything from adrenaline-inducing rides to quick coffee stops, errands, or riding with friends, the brand said.
With a 52V 29AH battery and 750W motor, with a removable software limiter, the Revv1 also offers plenty of optional extras, including storage, foot pegs, rear passenger handle, rear rack, and more.
Ride1Up, based in California, said: “The Revv1 is a bold, Class 2 moped-style electric bike designed for everything from adrenaline-inducing rides to a quick trip for coffee, errands, or cruising with friends. The Revv1 retails for $2,395 for the full suspension model, or $1,895 for the front suspension-only version.
Ride1Up was founded in 2018 by Kevin Dugger, who grew up in the cycling haven of Davis, Northern California.
The brand aims to offer affordable e-bikes designed to look good, and help people get out of their cars and onto bikes.
Dugger said: “With the invention of e-bikes, people have an amazing ability to move around the city in a fast and efficient way and still have a little fun. Better yet, you have an opportunity to see the globe more interactively. Cycling has a way better feeling that is incomparable with driving.”
