Connected Cycle and I Lock It by Haveltec, have announced a partnership and a technical integration of I Lock It bike locks with Connected Cycle’s hardware and fleet management software.
In this integration, Connected Cycle’s CC521 bike tracking device is wire connected to the I Lock It lock.
A command to the lock is sent directly from the Connected Cycle Platform via the CC521 device on the bike.
This collaboration enables managers of bike fleets to integrate and automate the remote control of the lock with other fleet management functionalities.
Fleet managers can now remotely control the locking and unlocking of their bikes, in addition to monitoring location, usage, and maintenance needs, (battery, drive unit).
This integration is enabled within Connected Cycle’s SaaS platform, Fleet, and also available via its Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

The new integrated solution is now available to existing and new clients of Connected Cycle and Haveltec.
