VivaCity, the transport technology firm, has announced Anna Keren as its new chief technology officer.
Keren joins VivaCity from Thirdfort, where she was chief technology and product officer.
Her previous experience includes VP of technology at ComplyAdvantage and director of engineering at Babylon Health.
Following the announcement, Keren commented: “VivaCity is spearheading innovation within the transport technology sector, and has an unwavering commitment to improving the sustainability and efficiency of roads and cities.
“The company is on an incredibly exciting journey, and I look forward to being part of its next chapter.”
VivaCity’s co-founder and previous chief technology officer, Yang Lu, is transitioning to technical founder and will be focusing his time on pure technology, lending his deep expertise to some of the hardest problems in the industry.
The beginning of 2024 has marked some other significant milestones for the VivaCity team, with CEO Mark Nicholson being shortlisted for a WCIT Enterprise Award, and the company attending multiple events in the UK, Ireland and the US, including TRA Dublin 2024 and ITS America.
Nicholson, CEO and co-founder at VivaCity, added: “Anna brings a wealth of experience from key tech sectors, and will be essential in the continued advancement of VivaCity’s products.
