Established in May 2017 the company operates a fleet of mobile cycle repair shops serving customer\u2019s bikes either at their residence or place of work. The business currently operates a fleet of four mobile bike servicing vans in Dubai, 7 days per week. In 2023 the business came under new management and expanded its range of services to include bike box rental and sales. In the near future the business will include bike sales, bike rentals and have its own website and shop.\r\n\r\nThe position\r\n\r\nVelo Presto is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to the newly created role of Assistant Manager Customer Service and Administration.\u00a0\r\n\r\nProfile\r\n\r\nThe ideal candidate has experience as a bike mechanic or in sales in a bike shop, with a particular interest in bikes and is hands-on with IT systems.\u00a0 Motivated to be part of the wider \u2018Sported team\u2019 and participate in general duties that are needed to grow our small, but expanding business. This may include working\u00a0at\u00a0events and weekends.\u00a0\u00a0\r\n\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n \tManage customer enquiries for bookings for service, maintenance and rentals\r\n \tGenerate appointments by maintaining contact with the VP customer database\r\n \tBack-end managing of the booking system\r\n \tSchedule appointments on the vans to optimize route efficiencies.\u00a0\r\n \tOrder new stock for the vans and shop as and when required\r\n \tManage orders received via the web-site\r\n \tHelping clients on the shop floor\r\n\r\nPossible responsibilities depending on the candidate\r\n\r\n \tSupport the finance function with providing accurate and timely information for accounting purposes\r\n \tBasic Website management\r\n\r\nSkills required\r\n\r\n \tA strong knowledge of bikes and bike parts is a must\r\n \tExcellent customer service and verbal communication skills\r\n \tGood written English communication skills\r\n \tProficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office\r\n \tExperience with managing and working with apps and software packages\r\n \tA team player\u00a0\r\n \tAn outgoing personality\r\n \tAbility to relate to cyclists and athletes\r\n \tThe ability to learn quickly on the job\r\n\r\nNice-to-have\u2019s, but not essential\r\n\r\n \tIs a cyclist, or triathlete\u00a0\r\n \tSales experience\r\n\r\nSalary\r\n\r\nAED 5-7k per month depending on candidate skills, experience and working hours.\r\n\r\nBenefits\r\n\r\nVisa, medical, paid leave,\u00a0\r\n\r\nApplications to firstname.lastname@example.org with your resume and an explanation of why you would like to join our team.
